Fetch Company Details from Dashboard
Save time by automatically populating your company details and logo in the QuoteScope add-on using your Pro account and API key.
Overview
The Fetch Company Details feature streamlines your workflow by automatically syncing your company information between the QuoteScope dashboard and add-on. Instead of manually entering your business details for each quote, this Pro-tier feature allows you to retrieve your information with a single click.
How It Works
This feature creates a seamless connection between your QuoteScope dashboard profile and the Google Sheets add-on:
- Dashboard to Add-on Sync: Any company information and logo you've saved in your dashboard can be instantly pulled into the add-on
- Consistent Branding: Ensures your quotes always use the most up-to-date company information
- Time-Saving Automation: Eliminates repetitive data entry when creating new quotes
Requirements
To use this feature, you'll need:
- Pro Subscription: This feature is exclusive to organizations with a Pro-tier subscription
- API Key: A valid API key generated in your dashboard and configured in the add-on
- Saved Company Details: Information entered and saved in your organization settings
Setting Up
Step 1: Configure Your Company Profile

Access Organization Settings:
- Log in to the QuoteScope dashboard
- Navigate to Settings → General

Enter Your Company Information:
- Complete all relevant fields: name, address, phone, website, email
- Upload your company logo (PNG or JPEG format under 200KB)
- Save your changes
Step 2: Set Up API Access

Step 3: Fetch Your Details

Open the Settings Sidebar:
- In Google Sheets, go to Extensions → QuoteScope → Settings

Use the Fetch Feature:
- Locate the "Fetch Your Company Details" link next to the "Your Company" field
- Click the link to retrieve your information
- Review the retrieved details
- Click Save to store them in your add-on settings

Troubleshooting

- Dashboard Information: Confirm all necessary information is saved in your dashboard profile
- Logo Requirements: Check that your logo meets the format (PNG/JPEG) and size (under 200KB) requirements
If you see an error message about needing a Pro subscription, you'll need to upgrade your account to access this feature.
