Using Testimonials in QuoteScope

Using Testimonials in QuoteScope

Add client testimonials to your quotes and let happy clients help you win new business.

Why Testimonials Work

Nothing sells like happy clients talking about your work. Testimonials on your quotes show potential clients that real people love working with you - it's social proof that can make the difference between "maybe" and "yes!"

Pro subscribers can add testimonials that automatically appear on published quotes.

Adding Your First Testimonial

Ready to add some client love to your quotes?

  1. Go to your dashboard and click Settings → Organization → Testimonials
  2. Click "Add Testimonial"
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Author Name - Who said this great thing about you? (required)
    • Author Position - Their job title (optional, but adds credibility)
    • Author Company - Where they work (optional, but impressive if it's a known company)
    • The Good Stuff - What they actually said (keep it under 500 characters)
  4. Save it and you're done!

Need the Pro plan to display testimonials on quotes, but you can add them anytime.

Managing Your Testimonials

  • Edit testimonials - Click the pencil icon to update details
  • Delete old ones - Remove outdated or less impressive testimonials
  • Add new ones regularly - Keep collecting them after successful projects
  • Preview how they look - See exactly how they'll appear on quotes

Think of it like curating your highlight reel!

How They Appear on Quotes

Here's the smart way testimonials work:

Your CollectionWhat Clients See
0-1 testimonialsNothing (need at least 2 for credibility)
2 testimonialsBoth testimonials every time
3+ testimonialsThree different ones, randomly selected

Why this works:

  • Minimum of 2 creates real social proof
  • Random selection keeps things fresh when clients view multiple quotes
  • Maximum of 3 keeps the display clean and focused

The Magic of Randomization

Got lots of great testimonials? When clients view your quotes, they'll see different combinations each time. This helps:

  • Showcase more of your success stories over time
  • Keep quotes feeling fresh for repeat viewers
  • Test which testimonials resonate with different types of clients
  • Prevent testimonial fatigue from seeing the same ones repeatedly

Tips for Great Testimonials

Make testimonials work harder for you:

  • Collect them regularly - Ask after every successful project while you're top of mind
  • Ask specific questions - "How did our communication compare to other vendors?" gets better responses than "How was it?"
  • Get permission first - Always ask before using names and company details
  • Aim for 5-6 testimonials minimum - Gives you good variety with the random selection
  • Focus on client concerns - Collect testimonials that address common objections (timeline, communication, results)
  • Keep them current - Replace outdated testimonials with fresh ones

The goal: Make potential clients think "These people are just like me, and they're happy they hired this person."
