Detailed Getting Started Guide

1. Log in

Go to dashboard.quotescope.co and sign in to your account.

2. Create a Project

Projects help you organize quotes for different clients or jobs.

• Navigate to "Projects" in the main navigation
• Click the "+ New Project" button in the top right corner
• Fill in your project name

3. Create Your First AI Quote

Once you have a project set up, you're ready to create your first quote.

• On your project page, click "+ New Quote" in the top right
• Describe what you're quoting in plain language - the AI works best with natural descriptions
• Click "Generate Quote" and let the AI create a professional quote structure for you
• The AI will analyze your description and generate line items, pricing suggestions, and professional formatting

4. Refine with AI Assistant

After your quote is generated, you can fine-tune it using the AI Assistant.

• On the quote edit page, look for the AI Assistant button in the bottom right corner
• Use it to ask for tweaks or improvements to any part of your quote
• Examples:
  • "Make the intro more professional"
  • "Add a discount section"
  • "Reorganize items by priority"
  • "Adjust pricing for items X and Y"
  • "Make sure all items have 15% tax applied"

5. Manual Editing

You have full control to edit every aspect of your quote manually.

• Mouse over items to reveal edit controls
• Click to edit text, pricing, descriptions, and more
• The interface is designed to be intuitive - just explore and click around
• All changes are automatically saved

6. Publish and Share

When you're satisfied with your quote, it's time to share it with your client.

• Click the "Publish" button to make your quote live
• Copy the shareable link that's generated
• Send the link to your client via email or your preferred communication channel
• Clients can view the quote in a beautiful, professional format

Tips for Success

• Be specific in your descriptions: The more detail you provide, the better the AI can generate accurate quotes
• Use the AI Assistant liberally: It's there to help you refine and improve your quotes
• Explore the interface: QuoteScope is designed to be intuitive, so don't be afraid to click around and discover features
